Yes. It’ll just seem more like a casserole, but taste wise it should be the same.

FYI there is no such thing as “alfredo noodles” alfredo is a sauce, not a noodle. but if you are referring to fettuccini noodles, yes you can use them

of course you can you any noodle you like but with a straight noodle the cheese doesn’t stick as well. FYI don’t use oil in your boiling water it may keep the noodles from sticking as much, but it will also make the cheese not stick to them either.

honey, recipes are not written in stone, thats the coolest thing about cooking, use what you have! The one thing I can see to be a problem is the stirring and the fact that macaroni is a thicker pasta, also the reason its used is the “holes” grab up more cheese sauce

edit: thinking about this…we have eaten spaghetti pie, so why NOT eat the linguine and cheese?

            Three Cheese Baked Fettucine
1 (16 oz) package fettuccine pasta
            1 tablespoon butter
            ½ onion, finely chopped
            1 cup heavy cream
            ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
            ½ cup grated Romano cheese
            1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
            pinch of nutmeg
            salt and pepper

            1. Preheat oven to 350°. Lightly grease medium casserole dish.

            2. Cook pasta 8-10 minutes until al denté in boiling salted water; drain.

            3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and cook the onion under tender. Stir in the fettuccine, heavy cream, ½ the Parmesan and Romano cheeses, salt and pepper. Transfer to the prepared dish.

            4. In a bowl mix the remaining cheeses and sprinkle over fettuccine mixture.

            5. Bake 15 minutes until bubbly or golden brown.

i don’t see why not i would only thing is though i would probably break the noodles down some so that there’s more to enjoy oh & just a suggestion make sure u add extra slices of cheese or some shredded cheddar & use milk instead of water it’ll taste cheesier & be yummier.

It’s possible. If you add cheese to alfredo noodles, it could pull of as noodles and cheese as well.

Though, it depends on the cheese you use. I recommend a white cheese like Parmesan or romano or agiago. (If you use fettuccine, then you’re making a Fettuccine Alfredo.) Another way to give your noodles a Greek or Mediterranean flavor, add feta cheese to the noodles. That should be really good.

                Happy cooking.
