dan asked:
I am a college guy and have never added anything to my Mac n Cheese. However, I am wanting to add chili to the Mac n Cheese.
All I have are Stagg Chili cans, will that be okay?
It is a normal Mac N Cheese box, it says 3 servings worth, but I can probably eat it all. I got the water boiling right now so any help appreciated!
Thanks!
-Dan

Cook both, when both are done (the way you love them best) let them cool a little and mix them together.

Sounds YUM. After you follow all directions for the Mac and Cheese simply pour in your chili! One can should be perfect for one box of Mac. Stir round on low heat for a minute to warm up the chili. WaLa…Enjoy…I might go do that, too!! Thanks

Once your noodles are cooked and drained, add the butter and the milk, and then add the can of chili. Let it sit with a lid on for about 5 minutes, and that will give the sauce time to thicken up, and the chili to heat up. Put the heat on low. Good Luck!

You make the mac and cheese like you normally would, and then pour the chili on top!

Ya it should be good I used to eat boxs of Kraft Dinner Mac N Cheese at one sitting although with the chili in it I think that would be a little too much.

You could put the chili in the bottom of a bowl then put the mac n cheese on top or vis versa!
That is what I would do

Try grinding down a dried chilli in a cheese grater.

Pour it in, maybe? Duh. Seriously, okay, warm both things up and then blend them in a bowl, or container. It works. Have fun!!
And three servings?!?!? Holy Cow! I guess college guys can eat a lot. Hahahaha!!!
Good luck!!!

just cook the mac and cheese, leave it in the pot on low and add the chili.

Follow the instructions on the box as though you were making it as usual. Once the Mac & Cheese is almost done (the macaroni is cooked and the sauce is mixed in) open and add a can of the chili. Stagg’s is fine. Stir well, let it heat through for a minute or two, stirring so it won’t burn, and then chow down.

it sounds good to me. add it to your mac and cheese when done, but heat it first so it does not cool down your mac/cheese. enjoy

I think stagg chili wouldl be a problem! Just add maybe half the chili to the mac and cheese. I think if you add all of it, it would be too much. But just once your mac and cheese is done, add the chili and heat together. I think it would taste good.

okay, if the chili stuff already has the ingredients in there, then when you add the cheese to the mac, put the chili in there also, but make sure the chili is already heated up.
but did you know at the grocery store, they have mac and cheese with chili already in there?
