DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Saute onion for 2 minutes. Stir in flour and cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Stir in milk, salt, mustard and pepper; cook, stirring frequently, until mixture boils and thickens.
3. Meanwhile, bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add macaroni and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
4. To the milk mixture add the Cheddar and American cheeses; stir until cheese melts. Combine macaroni and cheese sauce in a 2 quart baking dish; mix well.
5. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Let cool 10 minutes before serving.
cook an onion in butter on med low for 5 min
add a couple spoons of flour to the onion and butter mixture, cook 5 min
add a 2 cups milk to mixture and mixe well. let cook a few min
add grated cheese to the mix next..as much as you like. i’d add 2 cups
add a tablespoon dijon mustard, couple shakes worcestershire, some salt and pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg to the mix
cook some macaroni
add the cooked macaroni to the sauce, put into a baking disk,
cover with breadcrumbs that have been mixed with melted butter.
Ingredients
2 tbsp (30 ml) cornstarch
1 tsp (5 ml) salt
1/2 tsp (2 ml) dry mustard (optional)
1/4 tsp (1 ml) pepper
2-1/2 cups (600 ml) milk
2 tbsp (30 ml) Margarine or butter
1 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar
1/2 cup Asiago Cheese
1/2 cup Fontina Cheese
8 oz (224 grm). Mueller’s Elbows (about 2 cups), cooked 5 minutes and drained
Preparation
In medium saucepan combine corn starch, salt, dry mustard and pepper; stir in milk.
Add margarine.
Stirring constantly, bring to a boil over medium-high heat and boil 1 minute.
Remove from heat.
Stir in 1-3/4 cups (425 ml) cheese until melted.
Add elbows.
Pour into greased 2-quart casserole.
Sprinkle with reserved cheese.
Bake uncovered in 375 degree (200 C.) oven 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
cook noodles- drain
butter your dish
layer : noodles (buttered)
cheese (any kind you like)
cream (evaporated milk-1 or 2 cans)
cover and bake about an hour at 350
then cover with more cheese and bread crumbs
bake uncovered another 15 minutes
buy 2 boxes of macaroni
buy 2 bags of cheese one cheddar one vermont sharp
dont forget the thick ham slice. they sell it next to the glazed hams.
buy ritz crackers
how to make
get a glass pan
boil the macaroni till tender
put the macaroni in the glass pan
mix the cheese in however much u want but use atleast one bag.
cut the ham slice int cubes
mix the ham in
season with pepper if you like
take a bag of ritz crackers and break it into pieces
sprinkly over the top of the macaroni how ever much you desire
back in the oven at 350 degrees for about an 1hr or 2 until all the cheese is melted.

I know this doesn’t have bread crumbs, but I’m sure you can add it with no problem to the main recipe. You can even add bacon if you’d like!
