Rick asked:

I would like to use Penni pasta and I’m thinking a lighter cheese. I had two lobsters left over from the other night and that is what I want to add to the mix.

homemade pasta and cheese is done best when you add heavy cream instead of milk and do three of four blends of cheeses such as mozerella, grueye, swiss and sharp cheddar

  2. Go to the stor buy Macaroni in a box.. plain … then get velvata cheese in the box, boil the macaroni and then melt the cheese… add them together and there you go.. I add tuna into my mac an cheese all the time.. you do not taste the tuna.. but you get a wonderful flavor with it… and it comes out great/

So, boil your pasta as usual. Cheese sauce is pretty simple…just a basic roux with cheese added. I have found that the sharper the cheese, the cheesier the flavor.

    Roux:
    2 tbsp butter
    2 tbsp flour
    1 cup milk

Melt butter in saucepan. Add flour and stir until butter is absorbed…You can cook this and let it grown for richness if you like. Add milk and continue stirring until is starts thickening (10 min?).

Then add in your grated cheese, stir it up, and toss it with the pasta.

I agree with above, MUST have roux or cheese lumpy and gross.

  6. who woulda thunk it? i just take the cheater’s way out an use the boxed stuff. However, you have opened my mind – and caused a flood from my salivary glands – so read list of links at site below for a nice list of recipes

  7. hope you enjoy this one!

    INGREDIENTS:
    8 ounces macaroni
2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    3 cups milk
    1/4 cup butter
    2 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
    2 tablespoons butter
    1/2 cup bread crumbs
    1 pinch paprika

    ——————————————————————————–

    DIRECTIONS:
Cook macaroni according to the package directions. Drain.
In a saucepan, melt butter or margarine over medium heat. Stir in enough flour to make a roux. Add milk to roux slowly, stirring constantly. Stir in cheeses, and cook over low heat until cheese is melted and the sauce is a little thick. Put macaroni in large casserole dish, and pour sauce over macaroni. Stir well.
Melt butter or margarine in a skillet over medium heat. Add breadcrumbs and brown. Spread over the macaroni and cheese to cover. Sprinkle with a little paprika.
    Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes. Serve

If you have Penni pasta and lobster..the best recipe is this. Take the boiled Penni add it a pan that has butter and garlic, take heavy cream, tomato paste{Small amount} A little bit of paprika, garlic powder and salt. Add the rest of your lobster slowly to the mix. Take your cheese and let it blend in. add some parm cheese to it. and thats it. It’s out of this world.Enjoy
